Marriage Certificate Apostille and Embassy Attestation

    
Marriage Certificate is a proof and evidence of Marriage of a couple, it also witnessed the name of parents or legal guardians, Nationality, place of Marriage, address or married couple at the time of Marriage etc. The Marriage Certificate is a mandatory and very crucial Document for every Married citizen. When an Married Indian is planning to go overseas along with his/her spouse for any purpose, then Attested or Apostilled Marriage Certificate is required.

When an Indian Married person is preparing to go a Hague Conventional Country (HCC) along with their spouse, then their Marriage Certificate will be Apostilled by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India. Prior MEA Apostille the Marriage Certificate must be Attested from Notary Public as well as a competent Signatory of MEA, Govt. of India. For Marriage Certificate Apostille the State Level Attestation will be done from Regional Attestation Center (RAC), General Administrative Department (GAD), Home Department, Secretariat, Commissioner, High Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) etc. as per the authority given by the MEA to different States.

If the Married person is going to a Non Hague Conventional Country then the Marriage Certificate will be Attested and Legalized from the Embassy or Consulate of the destination Country present in India. Prior Embassy Attestation of Marriage Certificate it will be Attested from Notary Public, Attestation from State Level as mentioned above and the Attestation from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Govt. of India.
