If any person wishes to move any non Hague Conventional Country (HCC) then their personal Documents like Birth, Marriage Degree, Diploma, Experience, PCC Certificate needs to be Attested and Legalized by the Embassy or Consulate present in India. The Embassy Attestation will be done ager the Attestation of Ministry of external Affairs, Attestation from Regional Attestation Center, RAC), General Administrative Department (GAD), Home Department, Human Resource Department (HRD), Higher Education department (HED) etc. and the Attestation from Notary.

The above mentioned process is somehow time and cost demanding as such there is an alternate process of personal Document or Certificate Attestation is in practice in India. In this process the personal Certificate will be Attested and Legalized by the Embassy or Consulate of the destination Country present in India after the Attestation of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, the Attestation of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and the Attestation of Notary. The mentioned process is less time consuming as well as costs lower.
