When someone is planning to move abroad for study or job purpose then the intended candidate must have to Attest and Legalize their personal documents like Birth, Marriage, Degree, Diploma, Experience, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) etc. for visa purpose from Government of India as well as from the Embassy or Consulate of the destination Country present in India. Finally the Commercial Document Attestation and Legalization will be completed by the Embassy or Consulate of the destination Country present in India. On the other side, if some Indian Company wishes to Export their products abroad or wish to expand their business abroad then they also need to Attest and Legalize some business related documents from Govt. of India as well as from the Embassy or Consulate of the destination Country present in India. The documents are mainly Certificate of Origin (CoC), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Free Sale Certificate, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate etc for Export purpose and Certificate of Incorporation, Board Resolution Certificate, Memorandum and Articles (MoA), Articles of Association (AoA) etc. for expanding business in abroad. The Commercial Document Attestation or Legalization from Embassy or Consulate will be done by the different departments of Govt. of India like Chambers of Commerce (CoC), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) etc. and the Embassy and the Consulate of the Country. Indian Export or Commercial Document Attestation and Embassy Legalization process in India: Firstly the Export or Commercial Document will be attested by the Chambers of Commerce. Once the Commercial Document will be attested from the Chambers of Commerce then this will be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) or Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).Then finally the Commercial Document Attestation will be completed by the concerned Embassy or Consulate of the Country.
